::::::July 2007

A workshop entitled “Learn Today” was conducted by eminent pedagogues for the members of staff followed by another one by Akash Dharamraj on stress busting.
Our Shooters took part in the All India Inter School Shooting Championship at Amity, Noida and won two bronze medals in the Open-sight Junior Boys and Girls category respectively.
Alam Sohal (U-V, HBD) was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player in the NBA Basketball Camp held at the Silliman Centre in Freemont, California, USA.
Eight students (ClassX-7 & ClassXII-1) were awarded Certificate of Merit in the respective subjects by the CBSE for being the top 0.1% successful candidates in the Board Examinations.

::::::August 2007

Inter House Swimming Competition was held. Nilagiri House bagged the first position followed by Siwalik, Himalaya & Vindhya.
Our Shooters took part in the IPSC Shooting Championship for Boys at RIMC Dehradun and won two gold and two bronze medals in the Junior Boys Peep-sight and Open-sight categories.
As a forerunner to Bhuppi – ’07 our Football First XI played friendly matches with Doon International & YPS Mohali beating them with 7-2 and 7-0 respectively.
Shauvik Sachdeva (L-V, SBD) qualified the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) at the national level.
Mr Ajit Bajaj (OS) delivered a motivational talk on his ventures to the North & South Poles to the entire school in Barne Hall.
The School was placed at third position in the IPSC – IT Festival held at Mayo College, Ajmer.
Mrs K Puri completed 25 years of dedicated service to the school.
Our English Debating team was overall placed as the 2nd Runner-up and Khwab Sanghvi adjudged as the 2nd best speaker in the All India Inter School English Debate held at Chandigarh.
The School played and won a friendly Basketball match with guests – Akal Academy, Baru Sahib.

::::::September 2007

Five of our students have successfully returned after having completed their Exchange Programme to South Africa.
The School played host to the 3rd All India Business Quiz among 12 schools and won the Trophy with a thumping victory.
The School hosted and won the 10th Bhupinder Singh Memorial Soccer Tournament which was contested by 8 teams.
The School played host to the IPSC Shooting Championship for Girls and lifted the winners Trophy among 8 contending schools.
The School hosted and won the 6th Inter School Hindi Declamation Competition which was contested by 13 Schools.
The School mourned the sudden and tragic demise of the following:
(i) Mrs A Suri’s mother on 15th Sept 2007.
(ii) Mrs S Attri’s husband on 18th Sept 2007.
(iii) Mrs B Sikand’s mother on 26th Sept 2007.
